- Identify new target customers/markets and develop new opportunities. - Understand the market dynamics and competitive environment - Define opportunities to broaden the product offerings through the addition of complimentary products and solution offerings. - Able to discuss technical product specifications and product features in front of the customer. - Develop the relationship with assigned customers.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a good number of the following qualities:
- 4 years of experience in the enterprise software industry, with at least two years of experience in a customer-facing role as Sales Manager, Product - Manager or Key Account Manager, either as a customer or as a supplier. - An Engineering Degree from a four-year university program or equivalent with deep technical background. - Strong interpersonal skills and strong written and oral communication skills. - Ability to understand business requirements communicated by customers and put them in writing. - Ability to translate the language and needs of business people into technical solutions at a high level. - Proven previous experience in dealing with all level of people at customers. - Understanding of the industry dynamics present among customers, specially Open Source business. - Good knowledge of Liferay Product or other similar platforms. - General understanding of the requirements definition process, including wireframes, specifications and use cases - Team building skills. - Organised, self disciplined, flexible for regularly business trips and result oriented - Fluent in Spanish and English, written and spoken. Additional languages as Portuguese or French will be highly valued
