Expected travel:
Initial ramp-up phase will be mainly carried out at Madrid during the first weeks.
Afterwards, every 3-4 months aprox., a 3-4-days trip to Austria, Germany or Switzerland will be needed in order to understand new business requirements.
Education and Training:
University degree or equivalent on technical College or relevant related experience. Desirable to have any Java certification. Specially in the fields of: Developing Applications for the Java EE 7/8 Platform Java EE Design Patterns
Languages:
English: Very good Business English required (excellent communication skills). German: Highly valuable, but not required. Spanish: Native language, otherwise business fluent.

A passionate Senior Java Developer who thrives the further implementation of our in-house application for the Technical Order Processing and Configuration of our products: intelligent door lock systems and related advanced access control solutions. The software interfaces closely with our SAP landscape: ERP, CRM, PI….
Key Responsibilities and tasks:
Enhance the in-house application platform to meet the additional requirements for upcoming rollouts across Europe. Take the role of a member in an Agile Scrum team using JIRA/Confluence. Collaborate with Product Owners to define requirements together Keep Quality Assurance & Automation practices very present. Ensure top notch 3rd level support for your application.
Working Experience:
Long term Java development experience ( 6-7 years minimum) Practical experience in these technologies: Java 8, Spring 4, Hibernate 5, Swing, JDBC, Soap Practical experience with these tools: Maven 3, Git, Jenkins, SonarQube Deep knowledge of SQL and specially Microsoft SQL Server (2016 Standard Edition) Professional working experience with Microsoft Windows & Linux A broad knowledge of software patterns, OO-design and 3-Tier architecture Experience working in Scrum/Agile teams.
Additional skills non-mandatory, but valuable for the position: Real experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud tools… Knowledge of SAP ERP is a plus
