A survey: How much money do you make?

Last year javahispano performed an anonymous survey asking a few questions related to the salaries of our members. It was quite successful. We gathered close to 2,000 responses witha few hundred of them coming from Latin American countries and the rest from Spain. This allowed us to create a very detailed report on the salary of IT professionals for most middle-sized and large Spanish cities as well as for the main cities in Latin America. We also published the raw data that we gathered and the scripts that we used to analyze the data.

We are administering the same survey and we have realized that surveying more countries is not too much of a job for us; the same script will can used for all the data. Thus, we invite people from any nationalities to participate!. And If you think this is an interesting project, we are asking you to help spread the word!.

This year, all the data that we gather together with the scripts we use to analyze the data will again be made public. Therefore, if you decide to help us, you will have access to all the data collected from your country/JUG members. And we shall publish a report in English language.

I think the post is self-explanatory. We have decided to extend the survey beyond Latin countries. Last year we already had a number of responses from those countries, possibly from Latinos living in them. We needed a landing page for the survey. And this is it.

Please any comments you decide to contribute here wiite them in English for the benefit of an international audience, so they can know what is been talked about.
